Presidents Message

Fellow Chefs, Students,  Vendor Partners, and Culinary Enthusiasts,

I am honored to have been elected as our chapters President for 2015 – 2016. In my time as the Program director, I was able to meet many new people and build many great relationships with vendors and chefs from all of the community. I look forward to continuing to build these relationships over the next 2 years.

As you may know, I am one of the youngest Presidents in our chapter’s history. This year marks the 40th year of our chapter, and we have seen many changes in our industry, as well as our organization. Over the past 4 years, our chapter has made great strides. We are now involved with at least 6 events that get our name out into the community, while raising money for scholarships, networking with students, and sharing our passion for the food industry.  I hope to work more on these events and help our chapter continue to thrive.  I have also set goals for our board to help increase benefits for our membership as well as vendors, and make attending meetings worthwhile for everyone.

I look forward to the opportunity of getting to know everyone much better over the next two years, and continuing the work of our wonderful foundation.
