The Annual Presidents event is a time where Chefs, Vendors, Students, and Culinarians a like, come together to celebrate the accomplishments of our chapter and its members. Awards are given out for Chef of the Year, Professionalism, Educators, Student, Jr. Culinarians, as well as Vendors.
This years Presidents Event was held at the Hilton Netherlands Plaza, and was a great Success. Chef Todd Kelly and his staff prepared a wonderful meal that was enjoyed by all of those who attended. Jim Tarbell graced us with his musical talents on the harmonica as well as with stories about growing up in a foodie town like Cincinnati, and how it has evolved over the years.
Chef Danny Bungenstock was awarded the Educator of the year award, and Al Theders was celebrated with a Life Time Achievement award for all that he has done to support our chapter and industry here in Cincinnati. Chef Debbie also Handed out Presidents medals to Chef Jon Diebold, Larry Miller CEC, Nick Forest, Chef Glen Motley, Matt Madison, and Chef John Kinsella, CMC, CCE, WGMC, AAC.
